Musiq Matic
My music flows directly from how I feel, Most people try to force music so much. They search for hits, which doesn't advocate consistency. Me, I would love to have a hit, major success, but my music comes from raw emotions. My experiences, my friends experiences. My first piece, that will be completely free to all will be "January's Own". and why you ask. To most January is just another month, a winter month, very cold and dark to many. Wrong, January is the moment when everyone has a chance to have there phoenix moment and forget the past in start over. It's the beginning in calendar terms, NUmber 1. The month of a winner, because second just doesn't qualify as ahead in this world. That will be the first piece, as far as other things in the working, i won't give it all away. I will say this though, I have a chance to write more than record. Since 2006, i have been writing day after day. I just need a chance and break to develop a full team and get exposure, but mainly RECORD. So for news and updates about new material stay tuned to my sites.

Poetry Name: Beautifully Tragic Gesture
A 23 yr Old with much potential is exactly what I am. I am a slide show, of life's many different faces, and propositions. So many thoughts run through my mind, so many stories untold. I'm sort of like a monster, because I am filled with anger, filled with rage and from it spills my power (which is writing). I am the word of a poet in dispair, mixed with the street hustlers, to the old folk back in the day singing on corners sipping on a 40 ounce. So many different unique patterns of music run together in my head, to the point I can't sleep. My objective stretches much deeper than shine and becoming rich. My objective is to give back, eliminate certain aspects that the generalized public are blind to. My names are intertwined within my personal beliefs and struggles. My poet name: Beautifully Tragic Gesture, comes from the inner tragedy in which I have felt since me loosing my mother and father. The hate stored in for the world, which comes first. It tops off my revival, because as i switched from just writing poems I began to call my self Mr. Mizz, not short for Mike, but Mizzory. THe spelling is more of a updated and cool way, but just stands for Misery in the Mind. That has brought me to what I call myself now, which is Plymouth da Phoenix. Plymouth, the rock in which we landed on, the foundation for the United States basically. Plymouth Rock, but I stand for all, as I develop I plan to add the basis to basic situations of despair since I am aware of how lonely it can get when your going through something, and the Phoenix in Greek Mythology is just a symbol of being reborn. Other whack rappers just use it and don't know why. There's purpose. "January's Own" Stay tuned.

"Feelings"

Damn still up thinking, listening to something that should have been done. I wonder like, even if dreams never nationally become true, how would my mother feel if she knew I took her strength of writing, made it one of mine. The crazy thing is, I hear so many people close to me (family, and friends) say the negative things about me, but never speak on my strong holds. Fucks me up at times, but still striving for greatness. This is far from a joke, it's my dreams, and part goal. So many people just come into wanting to make music for money. That's why the art is producing for them. They want this fame, and don't understand the things and addictions that come with it. The pain, fame is just technology. Popularity starts in the class rooms, and on the fields, and courts when you are younger. The dream of performing, the dream of public speaking, the dream of being the "HERO". I mean i just want to say something that could safe a life, use my skills for the good, use my hurt to defeat the bad outside and inside of me. We all have to hit hell in order to really appreciate the importance of heaven. So much goes on in life and we don't even understand it. We just go on about our business and never even pay attention. We see our friends acting like assholes, we support the people who say nothing, and count out those who really are speaking something influential in this world. At some point the earth will stand still, and at this adverse moment life will either end or become better for a brighter tomorrow.

I mean the purpose of releasing all of this music right now, some of which are songs I rushed to put up just to have new and fresh music is to get the bugs out and rust off from being use to recording music. I have played with it for a while and just put out play songs, but I have decided to take a dream and just live it to the best of my abilities. Why chase money, cause honestly I will get that regardless in life, but dreams are made of nights of pain joy and rain. So like I have wrote my official first project, and delayed all other albums and mixtapes written for this one. This is special to me because it is my month. It is my lively hood. I can tell by the views that people are looking, and if you give reason to peek interest I know they will Listen. So I have decided to work on new beginnings, which is the theme of January since it marks a new year. I love music, and we all love it. We all also are aware of the fact that music has been falling off horribly lately. People just do not care about what they say, and it has no meaning. So i brought meaning back. I used theme, and honor and my skill set to develop this. To those in my corner who listen, and try to check my page everyday, thank you. I will never really know who u are unless u tell me, but thank you anyways. Let's win, and continue winning. Bring music back to what it can be. This record "January's Own" is mood music, so it can control a lot of thoughts, because that's how I would want music to do for me.

THE CRAFT (PT. 1)
You know,
As a heavy analyst of music and it's meaning, it has really come to my attention. People are too judge mental of artist that come out nowadays. Even myself have become a stubborn and snobby person to certain music that is released nowadays. Now that I think about it, music represents who one is. So often we say the South claimed hip hop, wrong, the North Killed the northern version of hip-hop. Why do I say this, it is because the north started making music that represented someone else s lifestyle. The music we make is suppose to represent the community in which we come from, but after we make it and expand our horizon's, then we are suppose to speak on what we now know......................................................
I mean is this agreeable people?

What's in a title?
When one sits down to develop their poetry or songs, shouldn't their title be true to the meaning of the song? A lot of times, even when I write sometimes, I find it very hard to remain on point. The title should mean anything, such as Juelz Santana's Song "Day's of Our Life", I think he did a great job on staying on point with that song. Not only was it a black power move in the sentiments of its lyrical meaning, but it was also uplifting.

That's a monumental chorus for such a song, though the actual lyrics aren't fully on task as I previously thought. I realize that his style of rap is a little more flashier, so I respect it much more when some type of positivity comes out of this. Songs like this, and Styles P "I'm Black" can definitely make the difference. Artist should have atleast one of these type of feel good songs on their album. Being the audience and also the poet/rapper I want to feel good. Now to go back to the topic, I picked this song, because the title is thoroughly represented through the lyrics and chorus. Now example of a song with no meaning, nor congruency with the actual title, We can name a few. Jay's "Snoopy Track" on Volume Three S. Carter cd, and Cam'ron's "Cookie and Apple Juice" From the crime pays album. When one reads the words or hear the song, it becomes confusing. So if your up and coming artist, just make sure your title has meaning, and you adhere to it.

Origins of Musiq
You know,
Music is a very touchy subject. Whether you are from the south, the north, the west, overseas, or where ever you are it is different. Everyone gets so caught up on assuming that a certain genre has killed Hip-Hop. It's not genre, nor is it region that has killed hip hop. When we think of Country and Rock music we realize that they are still selling millions of records. Their music has a distinct soul to it that fits their genre's culture. Music in the black community or excuse me "The Hip-Hop community" because it is more than race with music, has diminished from the pressure put on artist to create mental destruction upon it's community. Everything has come down to selling records, you know making money to provide for your family. When these artist create their image of thugs and hustlers the average mind who listen believes them. At some point you have to ask yourself what is real, and wonder how many of them really lived their lifestyles. There's a scripted artist who just writes to sell records and get money, and then the artist that isn't as available to kick the bullshyt, but realness. That such as this wonderful and developing corporation known as ReALMaTiQ. Music has lost it's soul, and voice, but it still has some flares and can spark minds, but it doesn't bring the same joy. We want to get back to that. We are all aware that in order to get on, be hot, be wanted by the public ears you have to display a certain level of ignorance in your music to be noticed. That's fine, but those are those three to four singles that are for radio. The goal is to make music of overall substance. You get this substance from the actual CD, or Lp. 3-4 Commercial records, 5-6 Very Deep Songs, and 4-5 mixed tracks that have true meaning, but is up tempo and fun to listen to. This is my feed, my scripture, the song that I cherish that I've written the most.
